Looking for tour that would go to the 3 rum factories and Banks brewery

Does anyone have any ideas if a tour like this might exist?

There may be an organised tour that visits Mt. Gay, Malibu and Foursquare plus Banks brewery....but I haven't heard of it.

 

A taxi will give you this personal tour for a nominal fee.

 

IMHO, that is the best way to fulfill your agenda. :)

Thanks for your help. This is a return trip for us and last time some in our group went to Mt Gay and others went to Banks. We went with Silvermoon for the day, but were contemplating doing this with a group and that way maybe seeing a little more of the island too. (or not depending on how much rum we drink :rolleyes:lol)

 

Do you suggest we just wait until we get there then and work out something with a cab driver?

Yes!

 

Don't prearrange it.

 

Walk past the gatehouse onto Spring Grarden Hwy ( at the roundabout) and secure a cab there.

 

Don't do this inside of the coupound as you'll pay twice as much.

 

Talk to a few drivers and see whom you like. (remember cab fare is about US$25/hr for up to four (4) in the cab).

 

Cabs usiually charge $US12.50 (1/2 the hourly rate) for standby while you're in the attractions. So, travel time may be 2 (two) hours and standby time may be another two-three (2-3) hours. Computes to about US$90 for the cab + tip.

 

I don't cab anymore, but it will give you a starting point.
