We are trying to decide between HAL, Princess, and Celebrity for a Caribbean cruise February 2013. We have sailed both HAL and Princess in the past. We found the activities and night time activities far superior on Princess but like the food and cabins on HAL. Itineraries and price are similar on all three cruises. How does Celebrity compare in activities and shows?

We have never been on HAL, but find the activities and shows similar between Princess and Celebrity. The the small differences being that Princess has MUTS, and Celebrity has more/better lectures. In our opinion Celebrity also has better food in the MDR, although food is subjective.

From what I can gather from most posts here on CC, Princess has the upper hands regarding the shows and also itineraries.

 

Celebrity has exellent service and great pricing, plus the very popular Aqua cabins and the larger angled balconies.

 

Food quality seems to be good and the same on both lines.
