Destiny: Lunch in the dining room?

Could anyone tell us if we can have lunch in the dining room each day, at sea, or in port?

On all Carnival ships, the dining room is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on a daily basis. I have all three meals in the dining room each day. Lido buffet isn't my cuppa tea.:)

The Destiny is different. On the port days for Barbados and Aruba the dining room was NOT open for lunch. Maybe because they also embark people on those days. You can also wear shorts in the dining room during the evening on the Barbados and Aruba port days.

Oh. So, only the Lido buffet is open on those days, I guess. I can understand the dining room being closed if there are people embarking. Sorry I misled you, Hei.:o And thx, sls, for letting me know something new.:)
