WhiteRabbit Posted May 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2012 We're looking at the RCCL Turtle Cove Sail and Snorkel and the Turtle Cove Sail with Power Snorkel. We've done regular snorkeling several times, but the power snorkel sounds interesting. How easy is it to control as far as going down to the bottom and back up for air? Is the power snorkel overrated or a lot of fun? Any other comments on either of these particular tours would be appreciated. Are there any other options besides the RCCL tours to snorkel with the sea turtles? Thanks.

Our eldest was 14 and later became a lifeguard and she would go down about 14 feet to see the turtles and stingrays on the bottom. Our twins were nearly 12 and not strong swimmers but found the power snorkels to be easy to maneuver. Our catamaran was the Dancing Dolphin and the crew was excellent.
