Island Princess -- advice on interior staterooms

Hi, we're booked on the Island Princess in July in an interior stateroom. (I know, not the best, but an Alaska trip is pretty steep!). Anyway, just wondering if there are any particular cabins to either avoid or seek out. We would especially like to get a quiet room, with little (hopefully no) noise from either traffic or adjoining mechanical rooms. Thanks for any advice!

We had Caribe 529 on the Island Princess on my first cruise. It was very quiet, very dark (we overslept the first day!). Since it was between passenger decks we never heard anything from above or below. It appeared to be next to a engineering core, but we never heard anything...
