leaving tomorrow on the Gem and I read this answer a month ago but can't seem to find the answer after searching for a half hour....I know...PATHETIC!!

 

After getting on the ship, where do I go to put carry on luggage if we don't want to drag it around?

Just ask the staff they'll tell you.

Just ask one of the crew members as soon as you get onboard. There is always a room where you can leave your carry-on bags until the staterooms are ready. They will give you a tickets similar to a coat-check and you can go claim it when the rooms are ready.
