post cruise tours

I booked excursions for during our cruise, but I don't see any for when we return to our final port, does Carnival have post-cruise excursions? Are they available for booking only on the ship? I know other lines will have things like a city tour and then a drop off at the airport.

I have seen some under the "Miami" tab for everglades, shopping and the seaquarium. I am also interested in an excursion that takes us to FLL after, not MIA.

The only one they have heading to FLL is the South Beach one. You can book it, like the other post-debarkation excursions, on the Carnival site, but it's got bad reviews. Just saying.

My cruise is out of Boston

Someone suggested to me to just rent a car and do our own thing. Considering it.. the car rental will pick you up at the port to take you to the rental place and then drop it back off at either airport.

Not Boston, but when we sailed from Jax last month, we knew our return flight home wasn't until 5pm and we also knew we did NOT want to spend teh day in the airport ;)

 

I heavily researched options for us -- trip advisor dot com is a great place to start -- and then contacted the tour operator for the bike trip we chose to iron out details.

 

It was an awesome way to squeeze every last bit of vacation out of the vacation, and I highly recommend it. Go on over to the New England page in the Port Of Call section -- there was just recently a fairly lengthy discussion about post-cruise in Boston.
