Train from ANC to Whittier..which side of train?

Which side of the train has the BEST views from Anchorage to Whittier? I know that I probably couldnt pick a bad side in Alaska, but which side do you prefer?

(And if anybody knows about the Amtrac from Vancouver to Seattle..which side?)

Sit on the right side as you face forward.

I agree - Sit on the right hand side of the train for the best views.

Totally agree. If you are not sitting on the right side the people who are sitting there will be standing quite a bit to supposedly get better camera shots but blocking your view of the inlet. If you sit on the left side you get a close up view of a bunch of rock walls in some areas.

Does it make a difference which side if you're on the bus? We are doing that instead of the train.
