Port Parking at NOLA on 5/6 Conquest Embarkation

One note I left off in my previous reviews was about embarkation. We were in New Orleans by noon but took a wrong turn just off the interstate (don't ask) and it was about 12:45 by the time we got back to the Erato Parking Garage. There were NO parking places anywhere, and we parked in a non-spot on the very top. I have read here that they will redirect you to another lot if full, but we did not find that to be the case, and if I had needed to go to another lot after getting delayed, I probably would have started freaking out even though there really was plenty of time for embarkation. We also found out once we cleared the terminal that rooms had been ready by 12:00 that day whereas we assumed it would be 1:30 like our previous cruise, so we definitely could have arrived earlier and avoided the parking garage problem, too.
