Car pick up in NY

Can anyone tell me the best time to tell the car service to pick us up in NY? We are sailing on the Gem June 23 -30. We are in a suite so we will be able to get off first. The car service suggested 10:00. Does this sound right?

We were in a suite and my brother picked us up at 9:00. If you want 10:00, you can wait onboard for a little bit. I found it very easy to disembark in NY.

We had our car wait a few blocks away and called him as we were getting our luggage last Sunday we were off the ship at 9 using priority with the Concierge. Suite passengers with luggage meet in the theater at 8:30am

You can be off the ship by 8:30. I'd also suggest 9, but the car services don't want to wait around for you if you are late getting off, or if the ship is late getting in, thus their 10:00 time frame.
