Confused about booking Blue Lagoon Island

We are taking a Carnival cruise next week and want to book an excursion to Blue Lagoon Island but trying to figure out why there is a $35 price different between booking through the island and booking through Carnival? They both say that you get the lunch so can anyone shed some light for me. Just not sure if I am missing something
