How was your trip, I have read many mixed reviews about this ship, we are sailing on 7/18/05 so any imput would be appreciated.

So how was the Inspiration. Wife and I myself are sailing on the 5 night this Saturday. We are big Celebrity fans, but just wanted to do a quick get away since Tampa is close to our home. A little worried about the Carnival experience.

I will send the Capers later today. I can't say that I had a bad time on the ship because all cruises are great but I think next time I will take a newer ship. This was my 9th cruise. (2 on Princess, 2 on Norwegian, 2 on RC, and 3 on Carnival. They try to keep this ship clean but the decor is terrible. The buffet bar area really needs a decor change. I guess once you go on the newer ships you get spoiled. We only had 6 hours to spend at the Caymen Islands. If you do not book a tour through Carnival you were not suppose to get off the ship until later. I try to book my own tours because they are less expensive. Now Carnival is telling you less time off the ship if you do not book through them. This was only at the Caymen Islands. But I still think this isn't right.

Our dinner was at 8:30. I read from other cruisers how they try to push you out and hurry. Well our dinner every night took almost 2 hours. We would almost miss the show. Sometimes I would wish they would hurry.

WE had fun and the price was great so I guess I should not complain!
