Future Cruise Deposit

Quick question,

Can you obtain a Future Cruise Deposit on any length cruise?

 

I know you can get them on a seven day cruise but what about the shorter ones? 2 or 3 days?

 

The reason I ask is because I already have one from my last cruise and was thinking about using it on a 2 or 3 day cruise (nice way to try out new ships) but not if I can't replace it. I would rather save it for a longer cruise if that is the case.

I thought you could buy a FCD when on board not matter what length the cruise. At the bottom of the link the FAQ doesn't mention the length of the cruise just they can only be bought on board.

 

 

It might be worth e-mailing P&O direct for written confirmation.

I had a look at the link but think it must be out of date, it suggests £200pp when in fact it is £50pp

FCD used to vary from ship to ship. I believe you are right in saying they are all £50 each now.

I wouldn't ask such a question, but the website was down and the lady on the telephone didn't really know what I was on about.

 

It seems (from an informant from Cunard) that the P&O future cruise desk is likely to be open on all length cruises and failing that reception should be able to sort it out and failing that you can do it on the in-port lunches at Southampton.

You can use your FCD on any length of cruise but to get the OBC it has to be booked more than 13 weeks from departure a 2 night cruise is £25 OBC
