Has anyone been to Limassol, Cyprus?

Would appreciate your experiences in Limassol.

 

This morning I sent an inquiry to Limassol in regards to their 2013 Carnival dates and accessible transportation. The town is a bit further from the port than what we or the average walker can do. From a quick glance, there appears to be enough interesting things in town to keep us busy.
