Green Card Travel to Canada?

Hi

Our cruise is next weekend, NYC to Canada on the Carnival Glory. I was sure we were fine with documentation, but started getting worried when I read an old post about someone being denied boarding. Our situation:

One of our party is a Green Card (Resident Alien) holder. She does not have a driver's license, but she does have a valid passport... from China.

Does she need anything else? Another ID? Visa?

I asked the travel agent, who referred me to the Carnival web site, which of course is too general to make you feel comfortable. I contacted Carnival and they copy and pasted their site language and emailed it to me. They also suggested I contact the Canada consulate.

I'll try that tomorrow. I went to

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp

Where is says Chinese citizens need a visa, but that US green card holders do not. So I hope we are OK? If anyone can confirm and give me peace of mind, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!
