beach chairs

We are going on the POA ship around Hawaiian Islands in December. Should we buy beach chairs at our first port (or before we leave Honalulu) to use on the beaches or just go for rentals at each port? Any advice for people with bad backs on the beach?

WE both have bad backs mine from 4 past herniated disks and occasionally severe muscle spasms. When we cruise to Bermuda each fall, we take along our own travel size beach chairs just incase a place runs out of them, we can't lay in the sand.

For your back, where ever you get them, make sure you have a beach chair.
