Questions on Carribean Princess

Leaving 5/28/05 we can't wait!!! I would like to know if we can order eggs and bacon and such for breakfast on our balcony for room service another words hot food or is it just pastries and cereal? Was on the Grand two years ago and had no problem with the ordering. Also want to go on the French side in St. Marteen without shore excursion from ship, how far from the ship is that? any help would be great.

St. Maarten is very small and you should have no problem getting to (and back from) anywhere on the island. When you get off the boat there is a large sign with all cab fares posted by destination. Depending on how many people in your cab, the per person fare to anywhere on St. Maarten probably won't be more than $15. Our cab to Dawn Beach was $6 pp. There are plenty of cabs at the port, and as well as at the popular places to bring you back.There are many resources on the Web for St. Maarten/St. Martin. Find the place that seems the most appealing and go for it.
