Kids floaties for pool - yes or no??

Hi all,

 

I was wondering if there is a ship specific rule (RCI Radiance) on taking floaties for the kids to the swimming pool?

How old are your children? They must be toilet trained to be in the pools and that doesn't mean swimmies.

I think I have seen the arm floaties but not toys or paddle boards.

Oh no they are 5 and 7. Well and truly toilet trained ;)

 

I was just wondering if there was a rule for it. I was going to pack the little blow up ring that they float on our home pool on. It's not big and obtrusive, but I didn't want to waste room if they weren't allowed to use it there.

On our last cruise (Vision of the Seas) they would not let anyone use any blow up floats except the ones that go on the arms. One boy did wear a life jacket too. His mother would not let him in the pool without it.

Pools are very small. No rings, noodles or mats. Arm floats seem to be tolerated.

Sounds like they are best left at home. Both the boys can swim anyway so they will be fine without them.
