brilliantseas Posted August 30, 2012 Author #26 Share Posted August 30, 2012 I think the parasailing was $70 per person, and departs right from the dock at Paradise Beach. We didn't do it on this trip.

brilliantseas Posted August 30, 2012 Author #28 Share Posted August 30, 2012 Meanwhile, back at Paradise Beach... Things empty out by early afternoon as everyone heads either downtown or back to the port area to party at Fat Tuesday. Some of the manicured grounds at Paradise Beach

brilliantseas Posted August 31, 2012 Author #30 Share Posted August 31, 2012 Carnival Paradise docked downtown at Punta Langosta, the giant outdoor shopping mall that also serves ships from Disney Cruise Line and overflow from Carnival's Puerta Maya and Cozumel's original International Terminal (Royal Caribbean's primary dock). It is nice because it is within walking distance of all of the downtown bars and shopping, but taxis are more expensive to the beach from Punta Langosta than from Puerta Maya or the International Terminal. We enjoyed being so close to the downtown area, and after our long day at the beach, we headed to Senor Frogs for some cool refreshments. About five minutes after we arrived, they announced a five minute two-for-one special on all yards of frozen drinks. Of course we had to partake, so we each ordered a yard (about $14), and were delivered an additional yard of the same drink. BE CAREFUL - THE TWO FOR ONE SPECIAL IS TWO DRINKS TO THE SAME PERSON. This is a definite way to get the party started! The waiters at Senor Frogs always have fun with the guests, and this trip was no exception. Throwing bowls of popcorn on people, posing them for risque pictures, adults-only balloon hats, and dancing on the tables are all part of the fun. Shortly after the drink special ended, as if the crowd wasn't liquored up enough, they started a free liquor shot conga line around the bar. Hold your mouth open and they fill'er up as you go by. Thankfully the ship is close by because after two yards at the beach, two yards and who knows how many free shots in the conga line, getting back to the ship can be quite the challenge for some people. My girlfriend had a cheering section up on the deck as we approached the ship. She wasn't sure she was going to make it back to the cabin... brilliantseas Posted August 31, 2012 Author #31 Share Posted August 31, 2012 More pictures from Senor Frogs... ...and finally, the aftermath of a day in Cozumel. And these are just the souvenir glasses...

Its no wonder you had to stop and take a break in the review...just remembering all those yards would be enough for a nap...:)
