Onboard booking or now! Need advice please.

we are going on the imagination on oct. 8 th. We know we want to book the legend in feb for our birthdays cruise. I am feb 13 and DW is feb 15 and valentine's is right in the middle.

Currently there is a casino deal for 25% off fun saver for a balcony at $629 per person plus we get $100 per person casino cash. That deal ends September 30 th. Do we take it while we can, or is there a big benefit to booking while onboard? Any advice is appreciated.
