Snorkeling or Exploring the Island?

I'm going on the Eclipse this year and it's stopping at St John. We were looking at a couple of excursions that Celebrity offers, and I was wondering if it was more worth it to snorkel there or should we save that experience for another island? Ive heard great things about the possibility of exploring St Johns. What should we do? Should we go with Celebrities package or do something on our own? Anyone familiar with what Celebrity offers have any input on the excursions they offer for St Thomas/John? Thanks!!!

Double check your itinerary. I bet you are going to St John's, Antigua. Celebrity docks at St Thomas and you would need to take an excursion or ferry to St John, USVI. :D
