I'm sure someone here can help me. We sailed Disney a couple months ago and every room has a phone in it which was great for when we left DS at the nursery. We are sailing on Oasis in Jan and I have heard there is something similar on the larger ships. I know there are not phones in every room, but do they give you one when your LO is in the nursery so they can get ahold of you if there is a problem?

I know on every cruise we've been on, there is a phone (regular type) on the desk in every cabin. On Carnival, there were pagers that you can check out so if your child needed help, or wanted his parents, the staff will contact you whenever you were on the ship.

Yes on Oasis they are called "DECT phones" and they give them to the parents of young ones :)
