Beach please last minute

We leave Saturday on the 8 night Valor. We have been to St. Thomas several times but never with out family. It is just the 2 of us and I am trying to rely on a tired, child filled memory of the beaches we have been too. We have never been to Sapphire Beach. I have read the threads here and it sounds nice but we are NOT snorkeling at this port. Requirements are bathroom, a cold drink of something, chair and umbrella. I checked the port info and there is only one other Carniva, ship in port with us on September 18th. Need this advice and feedback ASAP! :)

Sapphire Beach is beautiful, even if you are not snorkeling. It is our favorite beach in St. Thomas. Magen's Bay is very pretty, but can be crowded. It does have a nice bar and shade--bathrooms are decent. Secret Harbor is very nice-- not too crowded, hammocks, a bar, and good bathrooms. Not a big fan of Emerald--too close to the airport. Coki is pretty, but the area around it leaves much to be desired--kind of scary to me. Lindburg (sp?) is also suppose to be nice, but I have never been there, so I can't really tell you much about it. Or if you have the time, a ferry to St. John may be nice since you have already been to St.Thomas.
