Anyone know if I can take a ferry from St. Thomas to St. John, and go to Caneel Bay Resort to Turtle Bay? Is it free to swim there? I will be aboard the zuiderdam at the end of June, and would like to go back there.

I welcome any advise...thanks!

Hello Deb,

You can take the ferry, take a taxi (or hike) to Caneel Bay. There isn't an admission fee to Caneel Bay. Caneel Bay allows the public to access the main beach, called Caneel Bay. Honeymoon Beach can be gotten to by trail, its to the left of the resort and Caneel Bay Beach. I have been told that they prefer the public not walk through the resort property to access their other beaches. Hope that helps.

Hi Deb,

We are also on Zuiderdam at the end of June (25th). I loved Caneel Bay. I believe the resort/beach was named one of the top three in the world by a program on the Discovery Channel.

If you ever get a chance to stay at the resort, it is wonderful. Probably the most relaxing resort I have ever been to.

David
