Captin on The Dream

Can anyone tell me which captin is on the dream at the moment. Some have talked about a German captin and some about one called Roy? Thank you.

Hi, if its Roy Dearman you cant get better,he is a really good Captain,you will see alot of him around the ship,he used to have his breakfast in the lido when we cruised with him.

It was a German one in August, everyone made jokes about his boring speeches in the afternoon!

I think its Captain Torsten Olbr...ich whasname (apologies captn hopeless with German :o) his bonkers pre-sailing speeches are very hilarious:cool:

Did you sail from Corfu with him? as when we docked he would go down on quay side with a bag of sausages and feed one of the dockworkers dog!

No it was on the med medley last june (2011) but it sounds like the sort of thing he would do. He was funny

Just returned from the Dream and it was a German captain, he told a story every day prior to leaving port.

We sailed with Captain Torsten (the german one) He's great, I loved his stories everyday. Hope he's on there again in Feb.

For our blessing on the Spirit last year the captain did it on the bridge,and he also held the knife with us as we cut the cake!
