'Elegant Night' & Halloween Cruise

Will be sailing on the Ecstasy out of Port Canaveral on 10/27. This is a 5 day cruise (hitting Key West, Freeport & Nassau); we will be on board for Halloween. Question - will this cruise have an 'Elegant Night' or will the 'Halloween Party' take the place of what would normally be the 'Elegant' / Formal night?

 

Has anyone done a similar cruise or this route before who can let me know what to pack :D? DH and I actually like to dress up for elegant night so we are trying to figure out - do we pack for one or not.

Some people use their tuxes as costumes others wear costumes. Some wear elegant then change into costumes for the parties.

Cruise Elegant night will be your sea day the 29th.

Halloween is on Halloween the 31st

How weird is that ..late quick packing to disembark on the 1st.

If a robe is part of your costume, you will not be allowed to wear it in the MDR. We found that out a few years ago.

We were on the Spirit 2 years ago, Halloween happened to fall on one of the Elegant nights, most of the passengers came to the dining room dressed up in costumes.

 

Hats of to Carnival as well, they really helped make it a fun night.
