Location on deck 5 is pretty good, not too far from the FWD elevator - walk straight into Stardust Theater for evening shows, up 1 or 2 deck for restaurants - you are directly below the casino - noise shouldn't be a problem (no kitchen carts or gallery mechanicals above you) - take a look at the deck plan & also what's above you.

There are crews-only corridors and service areas nearby - it could be noisy during embarkation & disembarkation time when they are moving luggages around, otherwise - it should be quiet.

You mentioned Spring Breaks, and if so, expect mabye as much as 1,000 children of all ages running around everywhere - up & down the hallways, some screaming & yelling - normal & nothing you can do about it, LOL.

Balcony is always nice, but considerable pricing difference and unlikely to get a call from the Upsell Fairy as those sailings tend to sail 100% full and fully sold-out.

ah ok yea i had looked on that site and above me all i saw was an opening so i wasn't sure what it was. and i don't care about noise i feel that it adds to the experience lol plus i lived 10 feet from the George washington bridge in Manhattan most of my life so noise is no big deal and i don't worry about the spring breakers as i am one of them :)))) I'm 21 so yea im spring breaker but I'm not crazy or loud lol maybe just taking shots and etc but nothing crazy! and ah ok :( i would have liked to surprise my friend chris with a balcony but as long as we're cruising is all that matters!
