mydogmichele Posted May 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2004 I'm taking my Mom on a cruise to Alaska in August for her 75th birthday. Is there anything I can get her for Mother's Day that could maybe be applied to that cruise? I've never cruised before -- do cruise lines have gift cards or gift certificates? If not, any other ideas you can think of? Thanks so much for any replies, Pat C.
Nitemare Posted May 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Some cruise lines allow you to put money on account for passengers. If you know which cruiseline you're traveling on, you should repost this question on the board here at Cruise Critic dedicated to that specific cruiseline. The folks over there will be able to tell you the best way to do this
mydogmichele Posted May 7, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Thanks for taking the time to reply. Seeing as how I'm sharing a room (and account) with my mother, think crediting the account may not work. I'll just give her my own "homemade" gift certificate, draw a ship on it, and redeem it for her when we board the ship. Less hassle. Thanks again, though. Pat C. MaryPoppinz Posted May 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Last year, I bought my mom the Princess cookbook for Mother's Day. She's a great cook and has actually used it.
