Kayak, Hike & Snorkel- Carnival excursion

I tried a search to see if anyone has ever written about this and I can't seem to find anything.

We thought we'd do something other than a sail and snorkel at St. Thomas since we are doing that at other ports but I'd really like some feedback. Has anyone done this? Was it fun? Boring? Pretty? Let me know! :)

It's only 4 hours long which gives us half the day to see other sights!

Yes, we've done it twice actually. It's a leisurely kayak out with a stop to discuss the mangroves, then you get out and hike (very easy walk) to an interesting location where the waves crash against some rocks, which is also used for a photo op. Interestingly enough, they shot a closing scene from The Guns of Navarrone there, when the mountain bunker was blown up. After that, you don the swim gear and have a nice swim/snorkel for a little while. When you're done, you kayak back to the site.

I recommend it.
