9sails2date Posted May 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2004 I have seen some remarks about having your hired car driver drop you off at embarkation and then pick you up again at debarkation across the street from the main entrance of the pier. This eliminates having to wait for HOURS in front of the entrance with 200 fellow passengers while your car drives around and around and around waiting for security to allow them to get in the one lane line for pickup We experienced this last May coming back on the Legend and we are going on the Legend again this June and would really prefer not to go thru this hassle. Plus it costs MORE for your driver to waste time... Has anyone tried this tactic? How is it getting across the street with all your luggage? Any other tips I should know about! zurmolly Posted May 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2004 We really only waited 15 minutes for our driver to arrive in front. We did contact him via cell phone when we were debarking.
