Is there time to do it all?

We are sailing on the Caribbean Princess and are scheduled to arrive in port at 1:00 PM. Princess does not offer any tours of the island that include time at the beach as well as time for shopping in the city. Is the layout of the island make it impossible to do a bit of everything? Do any of the local tour operators offer something like this? I don't need a lot of time at a beach but would like an hour or so. Also an hour to walk around town and do a bit of shopping. I have been to the caves so I don't need to do this again but would love to see the natural arch, flamingos etc.
