$400 savings on March 23, 2013 Constellation Cruise

I just saved $200 p/p on our 5 night sailing on the Connie. When I reserved the cabin (CC Accessible) the rate per person was $868 each.

 

I was on Celebrity's site to see if my documents and luggage tags were available for printing and requesting for our upcomming December cruises and wanted to see if what the rates for another cabin would be. (DH and I are thinking about treating either my 2 elderly aunts to join us, or 2 of our nieces for a 5 night trip.)

 

:eek::D:eek: Imagine my surprise when I saw that CC cabins were listing for $669 p/p. I called immediately Celebrity and asked if my reservation could be altered to the new price and within seconds I was emailed a new confirmation notice reflecting the decrease in price.

 

In all of our previous trips we have never found our cabins to be less than what we booked for. In fact they always seem to get more expensive as time nears.

 

Just thought I would share the good fortune in case anyone else is booked.
