NCL Gem - Free Tenders to Cayo Leventado?

I have read a couple different posts saying that NCL was running free tenders to Cayo Leventado? They were running tenders to the city of Samana and to Cayo Levetado beach. Can anyone recently cruising with NCL Gem confirm if this is true? I am going on the NCL Gem in late November and would like to confirm if I should book a tour or if the tenders to the beach are free. Thank you.
