splendour of the sea

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever been on the splendour of the sea. We are going to med. west cruise on her and I read that the noise vibrations could be loud. We are on deck seven, at the end.

Will you be on the Splendour for your birthday? ;)

Laura, we did that cruise on the Splendour last year. It was my parents' first cruise and they are hooked (we did the Celebrity Century with them in April!). I would sail either ship again if the itinerary was right in a heartbeat! The Splendour had a bit of vibration, but the Century does too! I think if you are going to cruise (especially on the "bit" older ships), you need to know there will be a bit, but it's like anything else...say the hum of the airplane's engines...you are not aware of it after the first few minutes! On the ship, you will have so much to do and be so relaxed when you go to bed, it will just help lull you to sleep and you just won't be bothered by it. Actually don't LET it bother you!!!!
