Recommendation for a (private) tour operator in Aquaba

Hi, we (2 adults from Germany) will be in Aqaba with AIDAmar in mid december. But we don't want to book our tour to Petra with the cruise line because we always had very good experiences with local tour operators. So could anyone recommend a good tour operator who offers day tours from Aqaba port to Petra. Regards Ralf

we just returned from a Celebrity Solstice cruise from Barcelona to Dubai with a stop in Aqaba. We did not use a local tour company for our trip to Petra but the four of us used a local taxi driver who we can highly recommend: abdulla.qabaa@gmail.com. He drove us to Petra and waited there while we visited. he also gave us a lot of infos about his country. he is very flexible and his price was very good. So if your party is not more than 4 people, I would highly recommend him. Just send him an email in English to make arrangements (send him regards from Patrick from Belgium)
