St.John tour guide

Hi,

Is there any independent tour operators that do excursions to St. Johns? It looks like the tour we wanted to do has been sold out. I believe there is a bicycle/beach tour for St. Johns. Has anyone ever did this? I was hoping there might be another excursion outside of the cruise ships.

It's very easy to get an island tour for sightseeing, if that's what you want. Many of the cab drivers offer them. All you need to do is ask one of them. If it's not his "turn" to do a tour, he will find someone for you. We had a gentleman by the name of Emmanuel who was excellent! His jitney was awesome! You can start off by asking for him.

 

The price was very reasonable. I forget the exact dollar figure but it wasn't anything that made me react like this: :eek:

The tour has plenty of stops for photo opportunities and to stretch your legs. Ours lasted about 3 (?) hours. The views and the roads themselves are breathtaking.

Which tour did you want to do in St Johns? I am still debating if I should book a tour, or just go there on my own....
