Hilton Riverside review

Just spent 3 nites (1 pre/2 post) at the Hilton. I know it's a huge hotel and full of conventions but it was the perfect location for going on a cruise or siteseeing NOLA. We flew in so didn't have to pay for parking which is expensive. Having the Riverfront Streetcar line stop right at the hotel was awesome. We were able to hop on and get off at the next stop, Julia St. to embark on our cruise, and same with return. They always asked if we wanted Riverside or City view and high or low floor. We booked through last minute travel and got each night for less than $100 including tax which we thought was a great deal. The river views alone were worth the price! The rooms were large and after cruising in an inside it was heaven. Both lobbies had free wi-fi. And inside access to Riverwalk was handy as well. The staff were all friendly. We didn't try any of the restaurants but Drago's was always busy and the menu looked good. We'd def. stay there again.
