Mexican Riveria Which Ship is best?

Robyn - Our group is sailing April 2nd, 2006. I am thinking that if you take a New Year's Eve sailing that the weather for the days at sea might be a touch cold. It will be warmer when you get down to Puerto Vallarta but the water will be chilly in Cabo and Mazatlan.

I did a Thanksgiving cruise on the Diamond princess and rebooked the same cruise for this year on the Sapphire Princess. Can you tell I am biased. Princess to me is a little fancier.

Steve, We like the idea of a Mexico cruise leaving out of SF! Do you know of any other cruise lines (to Mexico) that leave out of SF? We're also thinking of the Dawn Princess. Any idea of what the weather will be like in January? I don't like humidity!!

Check out Celebrity, they also go to the Mexican Riveria out of San Franscisco, although they don't go as often as they used to. January should be nice, not too hot. The interesting thing is that you have to pack for cold weather (SF and the trip down/back) and warm weather at the same time!
