Carnival Conquest - you can see the bridge, the cabins above it that were modified with floor to ceiling windows. The "secret" deck that was there has been moved up one deck, but I always found those doors to be locked. Not sure if that will always be the case.

Exhausted from watching the work out, I was happy to be served more energy

LOLOL!!

None of my teams are still in the hunt but I suppose I'll root for the Dirty Birds now.

The pigeons?? :D

love the dolphin and sea lion pictures!! what camera setting did you use for the action shots? high speed burst or faster shutter setting?

Great review! Where is the EA sports bar located on Conquest? I know that DH would like it, but I can't seem to find it on the deck plans. We looked for the sports bar( the old one) on Conquest last cruise and we saw it once, but cannot remember where we found it. We are going in late April so it is mainly just baseball and NBA (we are not allowed to cruise during football season ), but even if he can just check out the scores and see a little ESPN, he will be happy.

The pigeons. ;)

I usually leave the camera on automatic exposure and it has two continuous shooting modes - low and high. I would have had it on the high (about 5 frames/sec)

Was the old bar there too? I am wondering how in the world I missed it. We were on deck 6 aft, so we walked deck 5 fairly often. Especially to get to the front of the ship (for dinner), as walking through our deck made me sea sick (too many cabins and too winding).

It replaced Gauguins Bar (the old Sports Bar). I don't know how you could miss it unless you always walked on the other side and were window shopping or just checking out what was happening in the atrium?

I was in the mood for more pizza so passed on a Guy's burger and went to Pizza Pirate for a snack

Pizza Pirate, Prosciutto Pizza, this time I was careful not to let any wind steal the arugula.
