Ideas for kids

Hi -

We will be traveling with our 3 year old and 17 month old. When we went to Mexico with my son (when he was 14 months old) we took a lot of bus excursions....it was ok, but not that much fun riding around on busses every day.

Are there any excursions that will work well for little kids here? I've seen things about the Turtle Cove, would that be good for little ones or better for older children?

Thanks for the input.

Ok. Found out already that minimum age is 6 for Turtle Cove.

So, here's the excursions I'd like info on...

Magens Beach Getaway - Is this a nice beach

Magen's Beach Getaway & Coral World - How long are you at each place?

Coral Land & Coral Sea - Better than the beach? How long? Is it a nice trip?

Thanks again....

Hello,

Magens Bay is a nice beach. You could do that on your own though. Just take a taxi, its about a 15 minute drive and runs about $6 a person, one way. Kids sitting in a seat that are under 6 years old half price.

Coral World would be fun for the kids. I'd go with that. It would take adults about an hour and a half to take their time and look at things. With kids - :), I've spent 3+ hours with little ones running back to look at the sharks again and again. LOL.

So Coral World, lunch, beach time. That would be a great day.

Sounds great. I guess I don't really need to sign up for a tour for that either huh? I can just take taxi's to Coral World and the beach that way I'm not stuck with some one elses time schedule.

Thanks for the tips!

We're traveling with our 6, 4 and 2 year old sons in a few weeks, and I plan to do exactly what Islander suggested.

Coral World, lunch, beach time. And I understand you can use the lockers at Coral World while you go to the beach.
