Snorkeling at Royal Carr. Pier

When we docked with Royal Caribbean, we noticed a bunch of people snorkeling right by the pier. Has anyone done this??

Yes. There was a snorkel tour that was off the beach between the international (I believe) and town. I'm not sure what the individual piers are called. When I used to take tours there, the tour leader met us at the pier, put us all in cabs that drove us there. I was pretty disappointed in the "trip" and the snorkeling. It wasn't bad but not good. When I was done, I just walked back to the ship leaving the tour.

No, it was right at the international pier that we saw them snorkeling. Anyone do it there?
