Leaving Jan 20 in our 1st balcony cabin. PVP promised me it was not an obstructed, but a friend of a friend says they believe it is. Any one know for sure? 2nd question. The balcony itself.. Is it a see through plexiglass or solid non-see thru guard rail. Would love to be able to see as much of the ocean as possible

TIA for all responses

Your friend needs new glasses. 6221 is a starboard side balcony cabin - fifth one from the front. Here is a picture of the starboard side of the Carnival Freedom. Deck six is lowest deck with balconies ...

I don't see any obstructions - do you?

This picture shows the balconies on decks eight, nine and ten (port side) ...

This is a starboard side deck nine balcony ...

This is the only way off the balcony if you are outside and the door closes and locks ...
