Hi, I'm going to be booking my 15 day Panama Canal cruise soon and will be sailing late in September - October. I'm wondering if the forward cabin C220 on Caribe deck will be really windy during this time. Any one have experience in that cabin that can offer insights?

Thanks!

C220 will be no more windy than any other cabin on the ship except for inside cabins :D and the balconies inbetween the Coral's bump-out sections. The first balcony cabins on each bumped-out section can be exposed to a bit more wind than all the rest, but C220 isn't one of those cabins.

This site has good info about the balconies on Coral and Island:

We were in C230 on the Coral for our partial transit and loved the location .. the wind was not an issue.. but we could hear the waves hitting the front of the ship which didn't really bother us either. The one thing we did not like about this location is the forward elevators only go down to deck 7... in order to go lower on the ship we had to walk around or through the Wheelhouse bar to the center elevators. Only caused a problem for us because my DH has trouble walking. Otherwise it was a great location.

We were in C220 on Coral for our Alaska cruise last year. We didn't have any problems with wind. We were a group of 16 and had the doors between balconies open for the whole week. Of course it was Alaska so we were bundled up most of the time.

We found this a great location and convenient to most things, particularly the Horizon Court. However if you plan to use the self service laundry you won't need any other exercise that day :)
