Back from the 5/29 Dawn Cruise - Have a Question?

In Feb., mid ship, deck 9, starboard side, we could hear hear clear conversations from the cabin next door on one side only. When the ship is rocking the creaking is very loud and needed ear plugs to sleep.

 

The prior year, (same ship, w cabin in same general area) I could hear very clearly also, a mother and child in their bathroom while I was in my bathroom. Actually, very alarming, but I realized people generally don't usually talk in the bathroom so I only heard the mother and child. Good thing I wasn't next to someone who likes to sing in the shower ... :o or worse !!

Well, I guess I won't be staying on Deck 9 anytime soon! We were on Deck 11 in a minisuite right next to the Spa. It was very quiet and a great location.
