mirrajay Posted May 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2004 I booked my flight to NYC last week, and just noticed that the same flight I am booked on went down in price by $40. I read somewhere that sometimes the airline will match that price and credit your card that amount...Has anyone had experience with this? Who would I call? The airline or the company I used to book the flight?(I booked online) Thanks for any advice! Carnival Victory, here I come! billybob123 Posted May 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2004 You can try the airline, but they almost certainly won't give you any money back. They MAY give you the difference in vouchers valid only for travel on their airline. Often, they won't do it for a $40 difference, but it's worth a try. Don't worry about calling your travel agent, they can't do anything - try the airline directly. Good luck.
