We have a car to pick us up and return us to the airport (GIG) from Mercure Apartments in Botafogo. Could anybody tell me the distance and how much time we should allow please? We return to the airport on Friday late afternoon for a transatlantic flight home!!

Allow yourselves an hour transit time hotel door to GIG because on Friday night traffic could be heavy. Stop and go. Without traffic it might take around 20 minutes.
