Valentine's Day??? Anything Special?

This will be the first time we sail on a "holiday" I use that term loosely for the 14th of the sencond month. Since my bday is the 16th don't ever relly pay much attention to it.

 

But if anyone has sailed on Valentine's day before do they do anything special?

Our first cruise was over Valentine's Day. It's been a number of years now, so I don't remember exactly, but I believe the women were given a red rose in the MDR on Valentine's Day. It's possible that the "game of love" (or the newlywed game as it was called then) was also planned for that day since it was a sea day.

I've been on a couple Valentines cruises and no, there wasn't much of a fuss really. Our cabin steward took a little more care creating our towel animal :)
