Cycling in the Pinones / RCCL Navigator

My fiancee and I will be travelling to P.R on the 28th of April, and we were wondering if anyone has experience booking their own mountain-bike rentals for the rainforest? My searches on the Internet haven't turned up very much. Also, is there anyone who has taken RCCL's bike-rental excursion? Experiences? We are wary because of some experiences we had on other large-scale organized tours, we hope not to be lead around like cattle ;-)
