Florence hotel handicap accessible accommodations:

BEST WESTERN Grand Hotel Adriatico

Via Maso Finiguerra 9

Firenze, I-50123, Italy

Phone: +39 055 27931

The hotel is located just a couple blocks behind the train station. However, you have to exit the from of the station if using a mobile device and you will have to ride a block or so in the streets to get there.

We had a double room that would actually sleep three. There was a single bed in the entry way and I think we had a double bed in the bedroom. I do not recall grab bars in the bathroom, however Ruth was able to get around without any problems so she must have held onto something. There was a built in shower stool plus a small portable one under the sink.

It was an excellent room with adequate outlets. I had two converters with me and Ruth uses an international charger.

The overall service was excellent. Also, we enjoyed very good breakfasts. I would highly recommend this hotel for the handicap. We booked early and had a very good rate. I did notice that there was an increase after we booked.
