Should I rent a car in Skagway?

Skagway now has two gas stations. The summer of 2013 the old station that had been closed for 12 years reopened. It has four sets of pumps so rarely should there be problems with getting gasoline now.

 

That's good to know. Is it fairly obvious in town where it is?

One tip for driving is to watch out for wildlife but it is often easier to see cars several hundred yards ahead pulled off to the side of the road watching wildlife. Don't go zooming by. Pull over quietly to see what they are seeing.
